Last year Champions  New South Wales Celebrate the maiden win of the Champions League T20 2009
The innovation of the shorter version of Cricket in domestic level twenty-twenty (20-20) tournaments have already rocked the world with the explosive nature of cricket in top cricket playing nations.

This event is majorly run by the boards of India, Australia and South Africa which was conceptualized in 2008. The commercial success of IPL played a major roll in the spin-off of this league of champion teams of every cricket playing nations to clash among each other for the ultimate supremacy in twenty20 team.

The CLT20 was first held in India in 2009, with the second edition to be hosted by South Africa in September 2010.
